More about me

Hi, I’m Anthony. I grew up in the Tampa Bay area and went to school at Florida State University. I grew up dreaming about being a baseball player, where I sadly fell short, but in my shortcomings I realized I had a much larger passion in studying sports, players, and decisions. When I was younger I was such a nerd for pitchers that I would watch games and just say what pitch they were going to throw - not just one or two an at-bat, but every single pitch. I still share that same love, and love engaging in debates about individual players and the value they hold. Recently, I’ve been obsessed with the NFL. It’s to the point where I think about Sunday starting on Monday, and it only gets worse as the week goes on (I know I have primetime games to hold me over, but lets be honest they have been relatively uninteresting this year). I’m also an avid hockey fan and love watching the Tampa Bay Lightning. The atmosphere during our back to back run was truly one of the best experiences I’ve had with sports, and It sure helped that we got to watch the Rays play (and lose) to the Dodgers in the World Series and we saw Tom Brady dismantle the Kansas City Chiefs on our home turf In the Super Bowl. I think that time period of winning in Tampa Bay (and almost winning - looking at you, Rays) shaped my passion for sports in a strange way. The feeling of watching our teams compete in some absolutely amazing games and come through was something that you just can’t replicate, and it led me to where I am today, searching for a career in the administrative sports realm.

I graduated FSU with a bachelor’s degree in Information, Communication, and Technology. I had an absolute blast in Tallahassee, but also thoroughly enjoyed exploring different career paths and really developing myself professionally during my time there, especially in my senior year. My proudest moments at FSU were mostly in my last couple semesters. During that time I took a leadership course that vastly changed the way I looked at everything I did. I began to enjoy the struggle of learning much more than I thought was possible and participated in numerous projects, like UI and UX design, research projects, statistical analysis, and had the chance to meet with ESPN executives through FSU Shadow. It all made me realize I was capable of so much more than just being average, and taught me that I can reach my goals and have fun doing it, thus why I made this website.
